“ I cant say enough good things about the First Watch family at the 23 Mile and Hayes location in Shelby, MI. The food is great, but the real reason we keep coming back is because of Carol, who runs the place, and the incredible wait staffApril, RJ, Jess, Delaney, and so many others! Weve been coming here multiple times a week with my dad for over three years, ever since my mom passed, and its become like a second family to him. Carol and the crew always make him feel special, with everyone stopping by to say helloeven when theyre not serving us. Yesterday was something truly special. My dad, who has been battling cancer, had part of his lip removed in surgery on Tuesday. It had been a tough couple of days, but by Sunday, he was eager to return to see his First Watch familystitches and all! Not only did Carol and the crew greet him warmly and express how happy they were to see him, but they also surprised him with a card signed by the entire team and a 20 gift card. He was beaming and opened that card several times during our meal, smiling ear to ear. First Watch isnt just a restaurant to usits an extension of our family and a place where my dad feels seen, valued, and cared for. Thank you, Carol and the entire Shelby First Watch team, for the difference youve made in my fathers lifeand ours. Your card now sits proudly on his entryway table for all to admire. ”

Our server, Jessica, was awesome, being polite, helpful pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast plan on visiting again. ”

Everything is delivered still hot, separated as we requested, and ready to be served in their individual containers. The staff is amazing and very accommodating, when we pick up our food is often ready early. Everyone at our company loves their sandwiches, when I bring out leftovers a line forms behind me before I get back to the lunch room to set it out. Comes with well portioned sides! We greatly appreciate the quick and amazing service! ”

We were repeatedly forgotten about and did not receive all our food at the time it came out. I asked for a box to take home the rest of my breakfast. We waited 20 minutes and it never came. So we just left. ”
